We actively contribute our expertise to legal policy – for fair, modern criminal law.
Active participation in shaping legislation
We are active in the field of legal policy to preserve and strengthen the rights of the accused and to ensure our voices are heard regarding new legislative proposals. Several lawyers from the firm serve on the Legislative Committee and the Executive Committee of the Criminal Law Working Group of the German Bar Association, where they contribute to, among other things, the drafting of position papers on legislative initiatives.
Involvement in associations and organizations
We are actively involved in the Association of Berlin Criminal Defense Lawyers—whether as members or on the board—as well as in the organizational office of the Associations of Criminal Defense Lawyers, which represents the interests of all regional criminal defense lawyer associations in Germany.
Support for the next generation of lawyers
The professional training and development of young lawyers is important to us—whether through nationwide courses leading to certification as a "Specialist Lawyer for Criminal Law" or during the legal traineeship (*Referendariat*). We welcome applications from qualified trainees for their law firm and elective placements.
Legislation & Reforms
Contribution to position papers on legislative proposals and criminal law reform initiatives.
Association Work & Advocacy
Active involvement in the Criminal Law Working Group of the DAV (German Bar Association) and the Association of Berlin Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Training & knowledge transfer
Lecturing and teaching within the scope of specialist lawyer training and legal clerkships.
