2. Collection and storage of personal data as well as the nature and purpose of their use

Beim Aufrufen unserer Website https://www.strafrechtskanzlei.de Information is automatically sent to our website's server by the browser used on your device.   • in the event that there is a legal obligation to disclose the data pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, as well as
  • this is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you pursuant to Article 6(1)(1)(b) of the GDPR.

  • to request information about your personal data processed by us, in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR. In particular, you may request information regarding the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the source of your data (if not collected by us), and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and—where applicable—meaningful information about the details thereof;
  • to request, in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, the immediate rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you that we hold, or the completion of such data;
  • to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, unless processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
  • to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, insofar as you contest the accuracy of the data, the processing is unlawful but you oppose its erasure, or we no longer need the data but you require it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or you have objected to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR;
  • in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, or to request its transmission to another controller;

  • to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. As a rule, you may contact the supervisory authority of your habitual residence, your place of work, or our firm’s registered office for this purpose.

6. Right to object

Where your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, provided there are grounds relating to your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without requiring you to specify a particular situation.

7. Data Security

Furthermore, we employ appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

8. Currency and amendment of this privacy policy

This privacy policy is currently in effect and is dated May 2018.

It may become necessary to amend this privacy policy due to the further development of our website and the services offered through it, or as a result of changes in legal or regulatory requirements.
